Tap into good health with BodyTalk

questions and answers

What can BodyTalk help with?

BodyTalk works on all levels, therefore it can help with physical pain and healing of injuries, clearing of toxins, germs, intolerances and allergies, etc; emotional problems, i.e., grief, worry, anger, sadness, fears, phobias, etc; psychological problems, i.e., anorexia, OCD, phobias, etc; energy, i.e., exposure to artificial energy fields and electronic devices, etc.

What happens during a session?

You will be asked to fill in a consultation form. You will remain fully clothed while you lie down (or sit if preferred), and relax while the practitioner gently uses your arm for a yes/no response. The practitioner may contact different parts of the body as indicated and will gently tap on your head and chest.

How Long does a session last?

It can last anything up to one hour. This allows for client discussion at the beginning and end of each session. Everyone is unique and every session is different.

How many sessions will I need?

A practitioner is unable to gauge how many sessions each individual will need. Acute problems will generally take between 3 - 8 sessions. Chronic conditions may take longer, although if the body is ready to deal with something, then it could be addressed in the first session.

Does it work straight away?

Sometimes a problem can be addressed straight away but not if, in doing so, it would upset the balance of the body and create more problems. Treatment may need to address other things first. When we look at the tip of an iceberg, we only see 10%, 90% is underwater and out of sight. In order to address the 10% of what we see as symptoms in our body – innate may need to address what we aren’t aware of first. This will prepare the body to be able to deal with what we see as symptoms, thus maintaining stability of the body.

What if I miss a session?

At the end of each session, practitioners ask the innate wisdom of your body when your next session will be. Your body needs time to process all the information and make the necessary adjustments before your next session. If you cannot make the appointment at the designated time, then try to attend as soon as possible afterwards, especially if it is a follow- on session where it needs to continue where it left off. If however you have to discontinue sessions for a while, then innate will begin wherever it needs to in order to correct the imbalances of the body.

Do I need to rest after a session?

After each session, your body will be processing information so it is wise to allow your body time to adjust by relaxing and not overtaxing the body.

What changes will I notice?

Changes can be subtle - you may feel different or lighter in yourself and not know why. Or you may notice a definite improvement – pains or anxieties may disappear.

How do I know it has worked?

During a session you may have a recollection of something that happened in the past; you may feel temporary emotions; there may be tingling or other sensations in various parts of your body. After a session you may feel light-headed temporarily or clearer in your thinking. Rarely, you may not feel anything, but this does not mean that it has not worked – it can be very subtle.

Can it solve my problems in one session?

It can, if the body is ready to deal with it. Generally there are underlying problems that the body needs to deal with first – your innate wisdom will always try to keep everything in balance. Your innate wisdom dictates whether you need another session.

Will it work for everyone?

Everyone can benefit from having a BodyTalk session. However, if someone is not ready to deal with their problems, then they will either not want to come for sessions, or will come for a session but sub-consciously be afraid of getting better, in which case results may be hindered.

Will it affect my medication?

As the body becomes more efficient, you may be able to reduce medication under the supervision of your G.P. Therefore if you are taking medication, careful monitoring by your G.P is essential.

How much will it cost?

The price of sessions will vary depending on the individual practitioner and the location of their clinic.

How long does it take to become a practitioner?

For as long as it takes you to learn modules 1 & 2, along with the protocol and procedure charts. There is no set time, so you can learn at your own pace. You will then need to monitor modules 1 & 2 prior to taking the exam.
